On July 6th, 2009 at 11:05 am, 25 hours and 20 minutes after labor was induced, we welcomed Elise Natalie into this world. She was 7 lbs and 21 inches long with lots of hair. With us at the hospital were Grandma and Grandpa Davis, Cherise and Grandma and Grandpa Gray. Uncle Jason was also able to visit after Elise was born.
We brought Elise home on July 7th. Our first night home was a rough, sleepless night. She has created a whole new sleeping schedule for all of us, so we are very tired, but she is worth it! I can sit and watch her many faces for hours on end. Her toothless smiles are the best!
