Random Updates

Quite a bit of time has gone by since my last post. We can't believe how quickly Elise is growing and changing. At her 4-month doctor's appointment, she was 24 1/2 inches long (95%) and 12 lbs and 9 oz (50%). Most recently, she has discovered her tongue and is always sticking it out or playing with it. Could that be a direct result of her father constantly sticking his tongue out at her? She also has started to have what I have been calling a true baby laugh. Over the weekend she had the most adorable little giggle, it brought tears to my eyes. Before that, she has been somewhat grunting when she laughs. It sounds like she just has the true laugh stuck in her throat. We will definitely miss it when it is completely gone.

Cherise is growing up quickly as well! With almost half of 4th grade gone, we have seen her change a lot. Basketball has helped her to become a more confident girl and we are proud of her achievments this year. She once again is in Drama; we are hoping her new found confidence will help her to get a role in this years play. She also started going to Choir, something only the 4th and 5th graders get invited to do. She will be having a holiday recital coming up in December.

Elise has such a beautiful smile! She usually leans to one side while sitting in her Bumbo and is the centerpiece during dinnertime.

Our first snow of the season! We appreciated the day at home!

"Hi. I'm new here."

  2. The percentiles are crazy! Gavin was 26 inches at 4 months and they told us that was the 80th percentile! I guess different doctors have different charts.
